[ he breaks eye contact not long after, so that's probably another sign that he's not entirely sold on the idea. ]
Just because I don't do this a lot—[ever.]—doesn't mean it's not a possibility.
[ although the longer he thinks about it the more he seems less sure if casual fucking your colleague really is a good idea. not enough to be totally turned off by the idea, but still. ]
[ klavier goes quiet again, this time searching apollo's face even as his gaze slips away. he considers something.
then, making up his mind, he looks around and turns them towards a nearby darkened alleyway—not unclean, but definitely well-hidden behind one of the glamorous buildings, with nothing but a dead-end brick wall at the end of it.
he doesn't force apollo into it. in fact, he turns so that he's walking backwards, tugging apollo in with him. ]
Show me then. [ he smiles, pearly-white. ] If you can be as courageous as you say, without the help of the candies from that market.
[ at least the man has a sense of privacy still. not that apollo doubted it, considering why they moved in the first place, but he follows and disappears with him down this alleyway. klavier's walking backwards and he hears the words almost as a challenge, which obviously is going to go well for everybody.
what it means though is he glances up again, giving him a critical stare before he sighs quietly. it has less to do with being brave and more to do with overthinking the repercussions. namely, how stupid is it going to be to do anything with him and have to face off in court a few months down the line? but again, he should think about work less and maybe consider what he's interested in more.
currently, he's interested in seeing what klavier will do if apollo proves him wrong, and also making the man less smug about it. it means he turns, walking klavier backwards until his back hits the bricks and apollo stands on his toes in front of him, pulling him down to kiss him again. maybe it's better not to overthink for now. ]
[ i feel like if he banged klavier and klav died the next day he'd take it as a bad omen and never speak to him again, so no, but i can't promise it's off the table when apollo does eventually die sorry2say. ]
